Connecting to our place in the world

Arataki School is connected to our local whenua (land). Our school is organised into five teams, each team is named after a local maunga (mountain). 

Our teams are:

• Hikurangi (Year 0-2)
• Mangatawa (Year 2-3)
• Hopukiore (Year 3-4)
• Mauao (Year 5-6)
• Kopukairoa (Reo Rua/Bilingual Year 0-6)
