Kia ora whānau
Mānawatia a Matariki
A significant day for us all.
A recognition, the first recognition of a signifiant indigenous celebration in the world.
And what a way for us to celebrate. Our Matariki Breakfast.
Thank you whānau for turning out, connecting and eating :).
Thank you Arataki Friends of the School for your mahi - just spectacular!
Thank you to our team, who got in and helped where we were needed.
Lastly, thank you to our Board of Trustees, who were out and about in their very attractive fluro jackets. Matariki is a time for reflecting, celebrating and looking ahead. It's the perfect time for us to look forward to the next 3 to 5 years and create a new and exciting strategic plan.
Ka mahuta a Matariki i te pae, ka mahuta ō tatou tūmanako ki te tau. When Matariki rises above the horizon, our aspirations rise to the year ahead.
We are your school and your voice is vital to ensuring the plan meets the need of our whānau. We are also talking with our tamariki, staff, iwi and community.
We are asking one question to get the ball rolling -
What are your dreams for Arataki School?
Keep an eye out for the noticeboard with feedback forms and drop box out the front of the school or click below to share your thoughts with us.
Dream big whānau, the sky is the limit. Consider things physical, learning, social… all things ATK.
